Emilio Izaguirre rejoins Celtic from Al-Fayha

Celtic have re-signed full-back Emilio Izaguirre from Saudi Arabian club Al-Fayha on a one-year contract.

The 32-year-old spent seven years with Celtic from 2010 to 2017 before leaving last summer to join Al-Fayha.

However, the Honduras international struggled to settle in Saudi Arabia and cancelled his two-year contract after only 11 months, allowing him to rejoin Celtic for the 2018-19 campaign.

Izaguirre made 252 appearances for Celtic during his first spell at the club, helping the Hoops to 10 trophies including six successive Scottish Premiership titles.
