UEFA fine Celtic, Inter Milan

Celtic and Inter Milan have both been punished financially by UEFA for their conduct in the Europa League meeting between the two sides in the San Siro last month.

In total, Scottish champions Celtic have been fined £9,495 for the misconduct of their players and supporters, who set off two flares inside the stadium.

It is the seventh time that the Bhoys have been charged by European football's governing body in just three years.

Meanwhile, Inter have been hit with a bill of £3,663 as a result of their fans letting off fireworks during the encounter, which ended in a 1-0 win to the hosts.
