Richard Hinds agrees Bury deal

Experienced defender Richard Hinds has signed a one-year contract with League Two outfit Bury.

The 32-year-old, who departed Yeovil Town at the end of last season, had been on trial at Gigg Lane since the beginning of the month.

It had been suggested that a number of League One clubs were interested in acquiring his signature, but the former Hull City defender has committed his short-term future to the Shakers.

Hinds was part of the side that recorded a 15-0 victory over St Blazey in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday.
