Coupe de France roundup: Late goal sees holders Bordeaux through

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Sunday's fixtures in the round of 64 of the Coupe de France.

Defending Coupe de France champions Bordeaux have progressed to the last 32 of the tournament by beating Raon-l'Etape this afternoon.

Henri Saivet put the visitors ahead just 14 minutes into the match from the penalty spot, but Benoit Patin managed to tap in an equaliser after the break.

It looked like the match would be heading to extra time, but Abdoulaye Ba turned the ball into his own net while trying to defend some late pressure from the visitors, giving Bordeaux the win.

Lille had to come from behind to secure their place in the next round.

Nordine Benaries gave Amiens a surprise lead six minutes into the tie, but a Saloman Kalou brace put the visitors ahead in the second half before Ronny sealed the victory with a third for Lille.

A Bafetimbi Gomis brace led Lyon to a comfortable win over amateur side La Suze. Clement Grenier, Steed Malbranque and Alexandre Lacazette were also on the scoresheet in the 6-1 thrashing.

A goal in each half against Rodez AF was enough for Montpellier to progress in the competition. Teddy Mezague blasted the top-flight side ahead early on, before an M'baye Niang penalty clinched the win for the visitors.

A late goal from Bruls sealed a 2-0 victory over Nantes for Nice in a closely-fought match.

A fine strike from Didier Digard put the visitors ahead just eight minutes into the tie, but Nantes fought hard as they searched for an equaliser, before being stunned by Bruls' late effort.

2009 champions Guingamp proved too strong for third-tier side Bourg-Peronnas. Claudio Beauvue and Mustapha Yatabare both found the target in the first half, which was enough to see the Ligue 1 side through.

Ajaccio had to fight back to avoid being knocked out by Quimperle, who play six divisions below Ligue 1.

Julien de Gall gave the minnows an unlikely lead, but Ricardo Faty levelled before the break for the visitors.

Eduardo sealed the win with a powerful strike from the edge of the box just before the hour mark.

Meanwhile, a first-half strike from Florian Raspentino was enough to see Bastia through against Evian TG.

Paris Saint-Germain had been due to face Brest, but their match was postponed because of bad weather conditions.

Results in full: Bourg-Peronnas 0-2 Guingamp, Bastia 1-0 Evian, Brest P-P Paris Saint-Germain, La Suze 1-6 Lyon, Nantes 0-2 Nice, Raon-l'Etape 1-2 Bordeaux, Rodez Aveyron 0-2 Montpellier, Amiens 1-3 Lille, Quimperle 1-2 Ajaccio
