Preview: Borussia Dortmund vs. Bayer Leverkusen

Dortmund vs. Leverkusen

The Bundesliga's third-placed side Borussia Dortmund host the team directly above them, Bayer Leverkusen, in Saturday's biggest league clash.

Dortmund have won their last three games, but just one of those has come in the league, where they have been beaten twice in their last three matches.

Leverkusen continue to impress and their five wins from six in the Bundesliga will ensure that they will be up to the challenge of BVB on Saturday evening.

The hosts remain without three key defensive players in Mats Hummels, Neven Subotic and Marcel Schmelzer, meaning that Manuel Friedrich and Erik Durm continue to deputise.

Emre Can may continue at left-back with the game probably coming too soon for the return of Sebastian Boenisch, while Sidney Sam is pressing for inclusion.
