Team News: Michael Essien starts in Real Madrid defence

Loanee midfielder Michael Essien has been handed a role at right-back for Real Madrid's trip to Borussia Dortmund.

The Ghana international will form part of a back four that also sees Sergio Ramos start at left-back.

Meanwhile, the hosting Germans will begin the encounter with Robert Lewandowski as a lone striker.
