Bordeaux winger Henri Saivet ruled out for four weeks

Bordeaux winger Henri Saivet has been ruled out for four weeks with a knee injury.

The 23-year-old is due to miss the club's first three fixtures of the new Ligue 1 season while he recovers from the problem.

"The midfielder suffers from knee pain requiring complete rest for four weeks," read a statement on Bordeaux's official website. "We wish him a speedy recovery."

Saivet scored six goals in 37 appearances for Bordeaux during the 2013-14 campaign.
