Morning all! The first match of a busy Saturday comes at the Reebok. Let's get straight to the teams.

BOLTON XI: Bogdan; Baptiste, Knight, Wheater, Tierney; Ream, Medo, Spearing; Chung-Yong, Ngog, Beckford

QPR XI: Green; Simpson, Onuoha, Dunne, Hill; O’Neil, Barton, Henry, Wright-Phillips; Austin, Johnson

There's a first start in the QPR lineup for Gary O'Neil as Junior Hoilett misses out, while up front Andy Johnson is chosen ahead of Bobby Zamora to partner Charlie Austin.

Dougie Freedman makes three changes to his XI, one of them enforced because of Darren Pratley's red card last week. Tim Ream comes in for him while Jermaine Beckford and David N'Gog take the places of Craig Davies and Rob Hall.

SUBS! Here are the two benches for this afternoon's matchup:

QPR: Murphy, Traore, Suk-Young, Jenas, Zamora, Hitchcock, Faurlin

The last time these two met was in the Premier League in March 2012. That day Bolton came out on top 2-1 thanks to goals from Pratley and Ivan Klasnic, with Djibril Cisse scoring for Rangers. Despite that victory, Bolton were still relegated that season.

REFEREE WATCH: Today's man in charge is James Adcock.

One man who isn't available for QPR today is £5m signing Matt Phillips, who completed a move from Blackpool just yesterday to strengthen the Rangers' ranks even more.

PREDICTION TIME! Just 10 minutes until we get underway at the Reebok so it's time for my thoughts on the match ahead. The strength of QPR's lineup should see them pick up at least a point and I'm gonna go for a 1-1 draw.

Speaking about his choice of strikers today, here's what Redknapp is quoted as saying on QPR's official Twitter: "We’ve got good strikers here, but I just felt with them being quite big at the back, AJ was the better option today. AJ is quick and looks sharp but Bobby will be a good option from the bench with young Tom Hitchcock."

Hitchcock scored a last-gasp winner on his debut for QPR last weekend against Ipswich. Some way to introduce yourself to the fans!

The two sides are ready and waiting in the tunnel. QPR are in their away colours of deep green and yellow hoops, with Bolton in their classic white tops and navy shorts.

Pre-match handshakes done, we're ready to go!

KICKOFF! The Trotters get us underway at the Reebok.

One piece of news before kickoff at the Reebok was that a statue of Wanderers legend Nat Lofthouse was unveiled outside the stadium.

Ngog almost threads a ball through to Lee, but it's too strong and runs through to Green.

Barton's initial corner is headed out but the ball is sent back to him and his second cross is a good low one to the near post that Wheater has to put out for another corner.

The second is too long for everyone and QPR race down the other end with Lee and now have a free kick in a lovely position about 22 yards out. Dead centre.

Spearing's effort clips the top of the wall and flies over the bar.

That corner of Bolton's didn't come to anything and QPR have since had another one of their own that again was wasted because of a failed short routine.

YELLOW! The first name in Adcock's notepad is Dunne for a hefty challenge on Beckford, who was looking to break away from that poor QPR corner.

Beckford does a step-over to work a yard of space 25 yards out but then drags his left-foot shot well wide of the post. No real chances at either end yet.

CLOSE! Hill shows that he's still got a good engine on him by charging up the left, overlapping Wright-Phillips and then delivering a fantastic cross that is just ahead of Johnson, with Bogdan gladly clutching the ball.

BIG CHANCE! And a really poor finish from Beckford. Barton is dispossessed in midfield and the ball ricochets to Beckford, who always has the beating of Dunne for pace. With just Green to beat, the striker pulled his shot well wide of the target. Not good.

Simpson is more than happy to get forward down the right for Rangers and it's his cutback that sets up O'Neil for a shot from the edge of the area. The debutant doesn't connect well though and the ball bobbles harmlessly through to Bogdan.

YELLOW! Bolton come forward in numbers but Tierney's two crosses are blocked before Rangers concede a cheap free kick right on the edge of the area. Barton is booked for dissent in the aftermath.

Spearing whips the free kick over the wall but it's too central so Green just tips it over the bar safely.

Green accurately picks out Wright-Phillips with a throw and the winger is away down the left. White shirts come across to cover and the ball is stuck under his feet before he plays it back to Barton. His shot has all the power taken off it by a block, making it easy for Bogdan to hold.

Austin runs at the home defence and he's got no support so just decides to have a go from 30-odd yards. It takes a slight nick on the way through and has Bogdan worried as it dips over the crossbar.

OFF THE POST! What a hit son! Tierney lays the ball inside to Medo and there's no-one in front of him so the crowd cry "SHOOOOOT!" The number 44 obliges and strikes the ball with lovely technique towards the near post. Green gets his fingertips to the ball and pushes it onto the post. Great hit.

CHANCE! QPR are getting plenty of space in behind Baptiste down the left and this time it's Johnson who crosses from that wing for O'Neil but he doesn't connect well from 12 yards.

A fourth Bolton corner is sent deep to the back post but Green comes out of his goal to claim as we approach half-time.

UPDATE: Over at Craven Cottage it's 1-0 to the Arsenal as Olivier Giroud puts the visitors in front.

At the moment it looks like we could have first ever goalless draw between these two sides. You get the feeling that QPR would be happy with a point and their quality is making this a real tough slog for Bolton, who desperately need a win to kickstart their season.

STATS: The numbers say that it's been a very even first half, with both sides getting off five shots, two on target. QPR have just edged possession with 52% of the ball.

The best chance did fall Bolton's way though when Beckford raced through on goal but dragged his shot nastily wide. Medo's fabulous shot deserved a goal but came back off the post.

If things continue to be a little stale for QPR we're likely to see Bobby Zamora enter the fray soon. Bolton's most threatening sub is Craig Davies, if Beckford doesn't improve then he could be taken off.

No half-time changes from either manager as the two teams come out for the second 45.

YELLOW! I wonder what the odds were on both Barton and Henry being booked ahead of kickoff? Well it's happened as Henry tumbles into Lee who was looking to break into the area and get a shot away. Free kick for Wanderers just left of cenre, 25 yards out. Spearing's lining it up again.

Weird set piece as Spearing fires it low into the mass of bodies in the area and Wheater manages to flick it goalwards. Either side of Green and it's a goal, but it's straight at him.

QPR take the lead and are on their way to the top of the table! It's lovely passing as Wright-Phillips plays it out to Hill, who makes a quick one-two with Austin before firing across the face of goal for Johnson, poaching at the back post to tap home.

UPDATE: Just before half-time at Craven Cottage Arsenal go two ahead against Fulham thanks to Lukas Podolski's first goal of the season.

YELLOWS! Bit of handbags between Tierney and Austin sees both men booked. Now now chaps!

Lee nutmegs Henry in the box and is about to shoot when the linesman's flag goes up on the far side for offside. Groans from all corners of the ground.

BOLTON SUB: As predicted, Davies comes on for Beckford, who has been disappointing today and still lacks a goal in Bolton colours.

Medo feints inside Barton but his left foot clearly isn't as good as his right as he slices it well wide of the goal.

BOLTON SUB: The Trotters' other starting frontman - Ngog - also has his afternoon cut short as Andre Moritz is brought on.

Spearing races at Adcock as a goal kick is awarded when he challenged O'Neil. Looked a fair decision to me. Real sense of frustration around the Reebok today. Freedman's side have only scored twice this season in four games.

Bolton's Twitter: "Total attendance of 14,999 here at the Reebok today, 564 of which are from QPR."

Medo feeds it inside for Moritz who has a bit of space and has a go. It's well struck but not on target. Twenty minutes left for the hosts to do something.

QPR SUB: Redknapp makes his first change of the afternoon, with Zamora on for Austin up front.

BOLTON SUB: Third and final change from Freedman sees Hall take the place of Tim Ream, who looks like he's picked up a hamstring knock. Bad news for Bolton as they're already light in midfield anyway. Ream, a centre-back, was only playing there because of a lack of numbers due to injury and suspension.

Hall has been very bright since coming on. He's just delivered a superb cross but there was only one white shirt in the middle. Not what you want to see when you're chasing the game.

QPR SUB: Wright-Phillips is taken off for Armand Traore. Definite defensive move from 'Arry.

Corrr, Barton is quite lucky to escape a second yellow as he goes in full-blooded on Hall. Adcock tells him to go away and not make a fuss. Well reffed.

STRONG HAND! That's a solid save from Green. Hall clips through for Davies and the substitute strikes low and hard with his left foot but it's close enough to Green who keeps it out.

Terrible, just terrible from Johnson. A Bolton corner is cleared and Rangers have a great chance to score on the counter. Johnson races clear down the right but doesn't get his head up and is tackled by Medo. If he'd looked, Zamora was completely unmarked in the middle.

QPR SUB: That's the last action from Johnson as he is taken off for Jermaine Jenas, who will shore up that midfield as Rangers look to close this one out and go top of the league.

YELLOW! Simpson has his name taken for a rash challenge in the middle of the park. Five minutes left at the Reebok.

YELLOW! One of the most blatant yellow cards you'll ever see as Onuoha hauls down Davies, who had rolled off hime once the ball had bounced over them.

FIVE minutes added on. Can Bolton find an equaliser?

Baptiste needlessly concedes a corner to present QPR with a corner and a chance to run down the clock.

Traore's cutback looks destined for Zamora to slide home until Wheater gets the faintest of touches on it to divert the ball away from the sub.
