Blackpool defeat Brigton & Hove Albion at Bloomfield Road.

Blackpool have beaten Brighton & Hove Albion 3-1 to secure their first win in four games at Bloomfield Road.

With six minutes on the clock, on-loan left-back Joe Mattock headed the visitors ahead from close range after finding Vicente's corner kick.

However, the home side struck back through Ian Evatt, who connected with the ball after a moment of confusion as it crossed the face of Brighton's goal.

Moments later, the hosts hit the back of the net for the second time in four minutes. Thomas Ince found striker Kevin Phillips at the far post to fire Blackpool in front.

In the second half, Phillips found the back of the net for his second of the game after Brighton defender Gonzalo Jara Reyes's dismissal to make it three.
