Blackburn Rovers are prepared to make a £12m offer to CSKA Moscow for playmaker Keisuke Honda, according to Sky Sports.
The Japanese international first sparked interest in domestic clubs after his impressive display in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
Since then, Honda has been linked to a number of Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Arsenal, and a number of other European clubs are rumoured to be interested in the midfielder.
However, the 25-year-old has played down any speculation that he will be leaving by insisting he is happy in Russia.
