Blackburn Rovers clinch Marcus Olsson signing

Blackburn Rovers have completed the transfer of Marcus Olsson from Swedish club Halmstads BK.

The 23-year-old forward, who is the twin brother of new teammate Martin, has put pen to paper on a two-and-half-year deal.

Olsson will have to wait for his debut with the Lancashire club as he awaits international clearance from the Swedish Football Association and FIFA.

The versatile player netted 17 goals during his four-year stint at Halmstads BK.
