Michel Salgado: Relegation "lethal" for Blackburn Rovers

Michel Salgado has described the threat of relegation from the Championship for Blackburn Rovers as "lethal".

Just one point separates the club from the Championship's relegation zone ahead of tomorrow's meeting with fellow strugglers Huddersfield Town.

"Relegation would be really lethal for the club," said Salgado. "Economically, it would be really tough to take."

The now retired 37-year-old was part of the Rovers squad that was relegated from the Premier League last season.
