Paul Robinson tips Jordan Rhodes for Premier League success

Robinson tips Rhodes for top-flight success

Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes is good enough to make the step up in class to Premier League level, according to teammate Paul Robinson.

Hull City are believed to have seen two bids for the 24-year-old knocked back, with Tigers boss Steve Bruce recently claiming that a move was "dead and buried".

Rhodes has struck 92 times in his last three seasons - including a 37-goal campaign for Huddersfield Town - and Robinson says that the marksman is proficient enough to make it in the top flight.

"You can always rely on him for a goal," he told the Lancashire Telegraph. "He is a goal poacher and his record stands for itself.

"I think he could do it at Premier League level, whether that is here or with somebody else."

Rhodes is contracted to Rovers until 2019.
