Kean angry with Liverpool winner

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is unhappy with Liverpool's winning goal that denied his side a point on Tuesday night.

Andy Carroll's 90th-minute header won the game for Liverpool and dented Blackburn's survival hopes.

Kean was disappointed that his team weren't awarded a free kick for what he thought was a foul by Martin Skrtel on Grant Hanley in the build-up to Carroll's winner.

"It's cruel because we felt we had done enough [to get a point]. We've got to pick ourselves up. I feel very aggrieved about the last goal," said Kean.

"Grant had tried to get back up but he can't get back up because Skrtel's pulling him to the ground.

"As Agger heads it he's going to head it onto Andy Carroll, where Grant Hanley would be recovering. So we feel it's a foul that should have been picked up."

Blackburn remain in the bottom three following the defeat with just five games left to play.
