Birmingham City 1-1 Charlton Athletic

Nicola Zigic's late equaliser was enough to give Birmingham City a 1-1 draw with Charlton Athletic at St Andrews this afternoon.

New Birmingham manager Lee Clark handed a debut to 19-year-old Jack Butland, who, days earlier had become the youngest goalkeeper to represent England in the 2-1 friendly win over Italy.

As both teams looked to be content with a draw, substitute Leon Cort headed home Bradley Pritchard's cross with just eight minutes left on the clock.

Former Valencia striker Zigic grabbed a point for his side with a low drive into the net.
