Half-Time Report: All square at St Andrew's between Birmingham City, Reading

Paul Caddis levels things up at the break at St Andrew's in the clash between Birmingham City and Reading after Jobi McAnuff's opener.

Birmingham City and Reading are level in their Championship clash at St Andrew's at the break.

The visitors started the game well and could have taken an early lead when Jobi McAnuff raided down the left and lifted a cross into the area for Adam Le Fondre, but his header went over the bar.

Birmingham rallied and Federico Macheda forced Alex McCarthy into the first save of the afternoon as he powered a shot at goal, which the keeper did well to parry away.

Reading took the lead just before the break when McAnuff latched on to Royston Drenthe's cross at the back post and fired home.

However, that lead lasted just a minute as the home side won a penalty when Kaspars Gorkss brought down Macheda and Paul Caddis fired home the spot kick.
