Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches 'bound for Benfica'

Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches is reportedly on the brink of joining Benfica on loan.

The Portuguese giants have entered talks with the Bundesliga champions over a short-term deal for the midfielder, according to A Bola.

Sanches is not thought to be part of Bayern's plans, having been shipped off on loan to Swansea City last season.

The 20-year-old is a product of the Benfica youth academy, rising through the ranks to their senior setup before signing for Bayern in 2016.

Sanches has 13 senior caps for Portugal.
