Bastian Schweinsteiger thinks that Germany are building the belief to win next summer's World Cup, after enjoying a historic year with Bayern Munich.

Bastian Schweinsteiger believes that Germany have the potential to replicate Bayern Munich's success at international level, on the eve of his 100th cap.

Schweinsteiger will reach a century of appearances for Germany if he features against Sweden tomorrow night, as Joachim Low's side bid to finish their World Cup qualifying campaign unbeaten.

After enjoying a year to remember with Bayern the midfielder believes that he has built a winning mentality he can bring to next summer's World Cup, as Germany bid to win their first major trophy since 1996.

He told reporters: "I have the feeling I know how to be able to win titles.

"The team with the biggest footballing quality do not always win, it takes something other than that as well. With Bayern I've already won the Champions League, now I want to win the World Cup.

"Fortunately, we still have some time before the tournament starts. However, there's already a lot of potential in the team, we're on a good way."

The 29-year-old completed a clean sweep of silverware at club level last season, with Bayern winning a domestic double alongside the Champions League.
