Sunday's Bundesliga predictions including Bayern vs. Frankfurt

RB Leipzig vs. Heidenheim (Sunday, 2.30pm)

In a match that both sides will feel they have to win, Champions League hopefuls RB Leipzig are set to welcome relegation-threatened Heidenheim to Red Bull Arena on Sunday in the Bundesliga.

Fifth-placed Leipzig drew 0-0 with Augsburg on February 14, and their tally of 37 points is two fewer than fourth-placed Freiburg, while Heidenheim are third last in 16th place with 14 points and occupy the league's relegation playoff spot.

We say: RB Leipzig 2-0 Heidenheim

After a taxing European night on Thursday, Heidenheim are likely to be less energised than their hosts.

RB Leipzig could prevent the visitors from scoring considering their improved form at the back, and if their forwards are more clinical, then it is difficult to see them dropping points on Sunday.

Bayern vs. Frankfurt (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Bundesliga-leaders Bayern Munich continue their title charge on Sunday when they host third-placed Eintracht Frankfurt at Allianz Arena.

The Bavarians miraculously drew 0-0 with second-placed Bayer Leverkusen on February 15, but the draw meant they ended last weekend eight clear of the champions with 55 points, whereas the Eagles beat Holstein Kiel 3-1 on February 16 and have 42 points.

We say: Bayern Munich 2-2 Eintracht Frankfurt

Kane's absence from Bayern's attack could be significant, though they should still have enough in the final third to threaten the away side.

However, it would not be surprising if Eintracht Frankfurt punished Bayern given the hosts have arguably been fortunate to not concede more in recent weeks.

Hoffenheim vs. Stuttgart (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Stuttgart's push for Champions League qualification continues on Sunday when they travel to PreZero Arena to take on Hoffenheim in their 23rd Bundesliga game of the campaign.

Hoffenheim are fourth last in 15th place with 21 points but managed to beat Werder Bremen 3-1 on February 16, while seventh-placed opponents Stuttgart were defeated 2-1 by Wolfsburg on February 15, though they are only four points behind fourth-placed Freiburg with a game in hand.

We say: Hoffenheim 2-1 Stuttgart

Hoffenheim have struggled at home this campaign, whereas Stuttgart have been excellent away from home.

The visitors' strong record on the road should make them favourites on Sunday, though it is hard to see them keeping a clean sheet given the volume of goals they have conceded recently.
