Jupp Heynckes has ruled out a return to coaching, insisting that Bayern Munich's treble-winning season was a fitting send-off.
The 68-year-old coach initially stated that he would be taking a one-year break from the game once his contract at Bayern came to an end.
However, it seems that there will no return to the game for the German, who has said that he does not intend to take up another managerial role.
"I don't really like finality, but I can assure you that I do not intend to coach again," Heynckes told Spiegel Magazine. "I had a worthy send-off."
Heynckes has had two spells at Bayern, as well as stints at Real Madrid, Benfica, Bayer Leverkusen and Athletic Bilbao, among others.
