Barrow survive in National League as Woking condemned to relegation

Woking are relegated from the National League as Barrow survive on the final day despite both teams losing their last games of the season.

Barrow have survived in the National League despite losing 2-1 to Chester FC in their final game of the season as Woking were instead condemned to relegation.

Goals from Jordan Archer and a first senior goal for Tom Crawford condemned the Bluebirds to defeat after Jordan White had levelled matters early in the second half.

Woking would have leapfrogged Barrow with a win against Dover and the Cardinals were level in their game heading into stoppage time.

However, Forest Green Rovers loanee Keanu Marsh-Brown scored for the visitors in the second minute of injury time to send Woking into the National League South.

The Laithwaite Community Stadium side are joined in the bottom four by Guiseley, Chester and Torquay United.

At the other end of the table, Macclesfield Town and Tranmere Rovers were already assured of first and second place in the table prior to kickoff.

Sutton United have claimed third place to put them alongside Tranmere in the playoff semi-finals, while the playoff qualifiers are Boreham Wood, Aldershot, Ebbsfleet and Fylde.
