League One roundup: Burton Albion extend lead at the top of the table

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's League One action as Burton Albion extend their lead at the top of the table after beating Chesterfield 2-1.

Burton Albion have extended their lead at the top of League One after Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side scored a last-minute winner against Chesterfield.

Jerome Binnom-Williams scored the 94th-minute goal to complete the comeback, after the newly-promoted side cancelled out Sam Hird's opening goal with Stuart Beavon's second-half strike.

Ben Nugent's first-half equaliser for Crewe Alexandra prevented Walsall from overtaking the Brewers at the top of the table, after Tom Bradshaw broke the game's deadlock with his eighth goal of the season in their 1-1 draw.

Leon Clarke came back to haunt his former side as he scored a brace for Bury in their 2-1 win over Coventry City.

Manchester United loanee Ben Pearson helped Barnsley overcome Gillingham, as the home side ran out 2-0 winners.

Millwall ended their poor form at home by beating Rochdale 3-1, with goals coming from Nadjim Abdou, Shaun Williams and Steve Morison.

Two quick-fire goals for Peterborough in as many minutes saw Graham Westley's side take away all three points against Bradford City.

Sheffield United had to take the lead twice to beat 10-man Doncaster Rovers, as Chris Basham, Billy Sharp and Conor Sammon scored the goals for the hosts.

Olham Athletic's Dominic Poleon scored a second-half equaliser to cancel out Max Power's opener for 10-man Wigan Athletic.

Shrewsbury Town beat rock-bottom Blackpool 2-0, courtesy of two goals in three minutes from Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro.

Port Vale came from behind to beat Fleetwood Town 2-1, as Sam Foley scored the winning goal from the penalty spot.

Phil Brown guided Southend United to a 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe United.

George Moncur scored his fifth goal in as many games as Colchester United beat Swindon Town 2-1.
