Barcelona midfielder Xavi has revealed that he has had "several" opportunities to leave the Spanish club during his career.
The 33-year-old, who broke into the first team in 1998, has made close to 700 appearances for Barca during an illustrious career.
"I had the chance, several times, to leave the club for different reasons. but I always decided to stay for personal reasons," Xavi told beIn Sport.
"I'm Barca through and through and the final decision was always based on the most passionate and sentimental feelings."
The midfielder, who is widely regarded as one the best players in the history of the game, has also made 130 appearances for Spain.
