AC Milan 'in talks with Barcelona over Jean-Clair Todibo deal'

AC Milan and Barcelona are reportedly in talks over a January deal for central defender Jean-Clair Todibo.

The 19-year-old, who joined the Spanish champions from Toulouse in January, has only made three appearances at club level in the first half of the 2019-20 campaign.

Last week, it was reported that the teenager was not interested in leaving Camp Nou at the start of 2020 despite struggling to earn minutes under Ernesto Valverde this season.

According to Calciomercato, Milan are locked in talks with Barca over a potential January switch, although the two clubs are still some way apart in terms of an agreement.

The report claims that the Catalan giants want an immediate sale next month while Milan are pushing for a loan deal with an obligation to buy at the end of the campaign.

The defender has only been in the squad for one of Barca's last six league matches.
