Joshua Guilavogui wants Wolfsburg stay

Atletico Madrid midfielder Joshua Guilavogui wants to join Wolfsburg, who he currently represents on loan, on a permanent deal.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Joshua Guilavogui has revealed that he wants to join Wolfsburg on a permanent deal.

The 24-year-old is currently on loan at Wolfsburg from the Spanish champions after failing to make an impact in La Liga.

The midfielder is also due to spend next season on loan in Germany, but Guilavogui wants a permanent arrangement.

"I've only spoken to [Atletico boss Diego] Simeone twice in the last five months," Guilavogui told reporters.

"At Wolfsburg I have constant contact with the management, as I have with the coach, and I hope the club can reach an agreement with Atletico.

"I'd like them to buy me and offer me a contract because I want to remain with Wolfsburg for a long time."

Guilavogui initially joined Atletico from Saint-Etienne in 2013.
