Fiorentina want Mario Suarez?

Italian outfit Fiorentina are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid midfielder Mario Suarez.

The Spanish international has not featured for the capital outfit since the early part of the season after picking up a knee injury and is not expected to return before the end of the month.

However, according to Sportsmediaset, that has not deterred Serie A side Fiorentina, who are believed to be preparing an offer in the region of £7m for the 26-year-old.

Suarez is highly rated at the Vicente Calderon, but it is believed that coach Diego Simeone could sanction a move in order to free up transfer funds this month.
