Atalanta BC see off Pisa in Coppa Italia

Atalanta BC have booked their place in the fourth round of the Coppa Italia with a 2-0 win at home to Pisa.

The hosts opened the scoring with just nine minutes on the clock thanks to a finish from Luca Cigarini.

The home side were made to toil in the second half, but they secured the victory when on-loan Juventus midfielder Leonardo Spinazzola found the net after being picked out by Rolando Bianchi.

Atalanta reached the last 16 of last season's competition before losing to eventual winners Napoli.
