West Bromwich Albion plot Gabriel Agbonlahor raid?

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly move for Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor to replace their supposedly wantaway frontman Saido Berahino.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has reportedly become a transfer target of rivals West Bromwich Albion.

Widespread reports have claimed that Villa boss Remi Garde is prepared to let the 29-year-old move on before the end of the month.

Clubs in the Middle East have since been linked with the three-time England international, but according to The Sun, he will be offered the opportunity to remain in the Premier League by West Brom.

The report adds that Baggies boss Tony Pulis has identified Agbonlahor as a replacement for Saido Berahino, who is expected to depart The Hawthorns in the near future.

It is believed that West Brom will have to part with £1.5m to sign lifelong Villa supporter Agbonlahor.
