Aston Villa confirm Carlos Sanchez has joined Fiorentina on season-long loan

Aston Villa have confirmed that Carlos Sanchez has left the club to join Fiorentina on a season-long loan.

The Italian club announced the deal, which according to the Daily Mail has cost £375,000, on Tuesday night.

Now, Villa have confirmed via Twitter that the 30-year-old Colombian has moved to the Serie A outfit, who have an option to buy at the end of the season.

Sanchez made 55 appearances for Villa after joining the club from Elche in 2014 for a £4.7m fee.
