Ipswich Town are thought to be planning a loan move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan.
The American, whose current deal at Villa Park expires at the end of the season, is considering his future at Villa Park.
Town boss Paul Jewell could now make a temporary offer for the 27-year-old with the view to making it permanent, according to The Mirror.
Guzan joined Villa from MLS side Chivas USA in July 2008.
