Charles N'Zogbia praises Christian Benteke form

Aston Villa winger Charles N'Zogbia praises teammate Christian Benteke after he scored twice against Everton in the Premier League.

Charles N'Zogbia has said that he is happy for Aston Villa teammate Christian Benteke after he netted a brace in the team's win over Everton at the weekend.

The Belgian has scored 11 goals in his last nine appearances for the side, helping the team climb up to 14th in the Premier League table, although they still sit just two points clear of the relegation zone.

The winger told The Mirror: "Christian, you can see he is on top of his form. He scores almost every weekend, it is good. He is on top form and his confidence is back to how high it was. I am happy for him.

"He gives us also the belief we have a strong man up front and we can work next to him and gives us the confidence to go forward and score goals."

Villa face West Ham United in their next league outing.
