Jack Grealish returns to first-team training with Aston Villa

Remi Garde confirms that Jack Grealish has returned to first-team training with Aston Villa after two weeks with the club's Under-21s.

Aston Villa manager Remi Garde has confirmed that Jack Grealish is training once again with the first team after being banished to the Under-21s.

Grealish, 20, has not been in first-team consideration for the struggling Premier League outfit since he was dropped to the U21s last month for partying just hours after the 4-0 hammering at Everton.

He has missed the recent games against Watford and Southampton, but will be considered for Sunday's visit of Arsenal.

"Jack is back with the group now," Garde told the club website. "I am pleased to have him back because he's an important player for the group.

"I am also pleased regarding how Jack trained over the past two weeks with the Under-21s."

Villa have won just one of their 15 Premier League matches this season to lie bottom of the table, seven points from safety.
