Kevin Miralles will have a medical at Everton in the next 48 hours ahead of a £6m move.

Kevin Mirallas will have a medical at Everton in the next 48 hours ahead of a £6m move from Olympiakos.

The Belgian striker had been attracting interest from several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, since revealing that he had a release clause in his contract.

He claimed that the Gunners had contacted Olympiakos about a possible transfer but it is in fact Everton who have had a bid accepted by the Greek side.

Toffees manager David Moyes is keen to reinvest the £15m they received for Jack Rodwell and improve his squad ahead of the new campaign.

The Scot has identified Mirallas as a potential strike partner for Nikica Jelavic, with the 24-year-old expected to finalise a move to Goodison Park in the next couple of days, according to Sky Sports News.
