Arsenal given boost in Nkunku race?

Arsenal have reportedly received a boost in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Christopher Nkunku.

The Gunners had looked to secure a loan deal for Nkunku during the January window, but PSG opted to keep the 21-year-old at Parc des Princes.

Nkunku has since established himself as an important part of the squad, leading to PSG attempting to extend the player's contract past the end of next season.

However, according to The Sun, Nkunku has decided to reject the French club's latest offer as he contemplates a move to the Premier League.

Nkunku has gone on to make 20 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, but the academy graduate is said to be keen on securing regular first-team football elsewhere.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery worked with Nkunku during his two years at PSG.
