Arsenal team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sports Mole rounds up Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Wednesday's Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Arsenal have a quick opportunity to bounce back from their shock 3-2 defeat at home to Crystal Palace when they face Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Wednesday night.

The Gunners saw a 10-match home winning streak come to an end in Sunday's London derby, allowing Chelsea to leapfrog them in the top-four race with Monday night's draw against Burnley.

Arsenal do still have a Champions League spot in their own hands but know that another slip-up in midweek could change that.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest injury and suspension news ahead of Arsenal's trip up to the Midlands.

ARSENAL'S INJURY LIST

Aaron Ramsey

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: May 12 (vs. Burnley)

Aaron Ramsey may have played his last game for Arsenal after picking up a hamstring injury against Napoli, and if he is to return then it will not be until the final weeks of the season.

Granit Xhaka

Status: Slight doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: April 24 (vs. Wolves)

Granit Xhaka failed a late fitness test ahead of the Crystal Palace match but will continue to be monitored and could be involved for the trip to Molineux.

Denis Suarez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle fatigue
Possible return date: Unknown

Denis Suarez's loan spell from Barcelona has not been a success, and Unai Emery's vague description that the Spaniard has "muscle fatigue and an injury" means that he is likely to miss out in midweek too.

Hector Bellerin

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Hector Bellerin has been sidelined since early this year and will not feature again until next season due to a serious knee injury.

Rob Holding

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Rob Holding also damaged his ligaments earlier this season and he too will miss the remainder of the campaign.

Danny Welbeck

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Danny Welbeck has been out with a serious ankle injury since November and, while Emery remains optimistic that the attacker might feature before the end of the campaign, Wednesday's match comes too soon for him.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match, with Sokratis Papastathopoulos available again after a two-game ban.
