Team News: Both teams without key players at Emirates

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are without key players for tonight's Premier League meeting at the Emirates, with the hosts missing their two first-choice centre-backs.

Both Arsenal and Liverpool are without key players for tonight's Premier League meeting at the Emirates.

The home side are almost at full strength in a forward sense, with their options meaning that Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are both left on the bench, but Olivier Giroud is selected on what is his 100th Premier League appearance.

First-choice centre-backs Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny, however, are both missing through illness and a back problem respectively, which means starts for Calum Chambers and Gabriel Paulista at the back.

Liverpool, meanwhile, are without the services of their skipper Jordan Henderson, who misses out with a foot problem.

Emre Can and Lucas Leiva both come into the middle of the park for the visitors, while there is a start in a wide position for summer signing Roberto Firmino.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Chambers, Gabriel, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Ramsey, Ozil, Sanchez; Giroud

Liverpool: Mignolet; Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez; Milner, Can, Lucas; Firmino, Benteke, Coutinho
