Thierry Henry retires: Twitter reacts

Sports Mole picks out some of the best Twitter reaction to the news that former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry has retired.

Following a 20-year playing career, Thierry Henry confirmed earlier today that he has retired from professional football with immediate effect.

The Frenchman started his playing days with Monaco, before having brief stint in Italy with Juventus. It was in 1999 that he joined Arsenal, for whom he would become a club legend. His time in North London came to an end in 2007 when he signed for Barcelona, while his final playing days were spent in the MLS with the New York Red Bulls.

Having won so much and broken so many records, footballers past and present have taken to Twitter today to pay tribute to the World Cup and European Championship winner. Below is some of the best reaction:
