Hiddink signs new Anzhi deal

Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has signed a new one-year contract extension with Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala.

The Dutchman, who took charge of Anzhi in 2012, led the side to third place in the Russian Premier League last season.

"The old contract of Guus Hiddink was composed on a +1 scheme. Both parties used this option in the old contract... I'm happy," chairman Konstantin Remchukov said on Twitter.

The 66-year-old had reportedly been considering retirement.
