Agent: 'Valencia have made Cheikhou Kouyate offer'

The agent of Anderlecht defender Cheikhou Kouyate has revealed that Valencia have made an offer for his client this summer.

The 24-year-old is widely expected to leave Belgium this month, with a number of European clubs credited with an interest in the Senegal international.

However, according to Tedir Bekir, the only firm offer thus far has arrived from the Mestalla.

"Currently there is nothing concrete beyond Valencia's offer. West Ham could bid but so far nothing has happened," he told Het Nieuwsblad.

It is understood that Valencia's offer is in the region of £5m.
