Mane to return to Almeria

Almeria have confirmed the signing of Mane from Maccabi Tel Aviv on an 18-month contract.

The 32-year-old, who initially represented Almeria between 2006 and 2009, spent last season in La Liga with Getafe before moving to Tel Aviv in the summer.

However, the left-back made just five league appearances for the Israeli side during a disappointing spell and has therefore been allowed to return to Spain.

"I wanted to come back to Almería, returning to somewhere I consider my home," he told reporters at a press conference.

Mane will officially join up with his new teammates on December 29.
