Former Chesterfield striker Carl Lamb has signed for Conference Premier side Alfreton Town.
Lamb only joined the League One outfit during the summer but his failure to break into the first-team setup has resulted in him being allowed to depart the club.
That has allowed Alfreton to swoop for the 30-year-old, who spent the early part of his career with Liverpool and Chester City.
Lamb has been handed a place on the substitutes' bench for Alfreton's fixture with Bristol Rovers on Tuesday evening.
