Lionel Ainsworth recalled by Rotherham United

Lionel Ainsworth's loan stint at Aldershot Town has come to an end after the player was recalled by parent club Rotherham United.

The attacking midfielder made seven appearances for the Shots since joining the club on a short-term deal in January.

Ainsworth made his Aldershot debut in the home clash with Northampton Town, and started in the club's last three games.

The 25-year-old, who has previously completed stints with Watford, Huddersfield Town and Shrewsbury Town, returns to Rotherham in time for their meeting with Exeter City this weekend.
