AC Milan have reportedly opened talks with Sampdoria over the transfer of Roberto Soriano.
The 24-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign last term and helped his team to a seventh-place finish in Serie A.
His displays have seen him linked with a number of clubs over the summer, and according to Sky Sport Italia, Milan are set to pay €10m (£7m) in order to bring him to the San Siro.
It is believed that discussions between the Rossoneri and Sampdoria are at an advanced stage, with the Milan giants hoping to agree personal terms with the midfielder before the start of the new season.
Soriano won his first call up to the senior Italy squad last November.
