Dutch midfielder Nigel de Jong starts for AC Milan against Cagliari in their Serie A game at home this evening.

Nigel de Jong will start in midfield for AC Milan against Cagliari at San Siro in Serie A this evening.

The Dutchman will have Bakaye Traore and Riccardo Montolivo alongside him in the middle of the park, with Urby Emanuelson, Giampaolo Pazzini and Stephan El Shaarawy as the three attacking players.

Daniele Bonera will replace Cristian Zapata in defence for the Rossoneri, with Philippe Mexes, Mattia De Sciglio and Ignazio Abate completing the back four.

Cagliari will also start in a 4-3-3 formation, with Thiago Ribeiro, Mauricio Pinilla and Víctor Ibarbo as their three attacking players.
