Michael van Gerwen has recorded a 6-6 draw with Adrian Lewis to retain his position at the top of the Premier League table.

The world number one found himself 5-2 down to the Stoke-on-Trent thrower before storming back to maintain his unbeaten record after four games.

Dave Chisnall remains in second position after he registered a 7-4 triumph over Kim Huybrechts, who missed double 12 for a nine-dart leg.

2015 world champion Gary Anderson is back in third place after a 7-4 win over James Wade, but Phil Taylor could only draw 6-6 with Peter Wright.

The other contest of the evening saw defending champion Raymond van Barneveld take advantage of missed doubles from Stephen Bunting to run out a 7-4 winner.
