Anderson, Van Barneveld through in World Grand Prix

Gary Anderson has remained on course to reach his first World Grand Prix final with a 3-1 victory over Kyle Anderson.

The two-time world champion has only ever reached the last four in Dublin but he averaged almost 97 in the double-in, double-out format as he got the better of the Australian in the second round.

The Scot will now face Kim Huybrechts who was equally impressive in a 3-0 demolition of Stephen Bunting, who won just two legs in their last-16 clash.

Raymond van Barneveld produced one of his best performances of the year to run out a 3-0 winner over Adrian Lewis, who was made to pay for missing five darts to win the first set.

After that moment, Van Barneveld dropped just one leg in the remaining two sets as he set up an all-Dutch showdown with Benito van de Pas.

The 23-year-old conceded the opening set to opponent Terry Jenkins but he stormed back to come through by a 3-1 scoreline.
