Raymond van Barneveld happy with performances at Grand Slam of Darts

Raymond van Barneveld admits that he has been delighted with his performances at the Grand Slam of Darts after reaching the semi-finals of the event.

Raymond van Barneveld has revealed that he is happy with how he is playing at the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton.

The 2012 champion reached the last four on Friday night with a 16-12 victory against Mark Webster, and the Dutchman has admitted that he is feeling confident after putting together two impressive wins - the other against James Wade - in the knockout stages.

The 48-year-old told PDC.TV: "I'm really happy. I worked hard for this and I was very focused but I could never relax.

"Mark's a fantastic player and he kept coming back all the time and I was worried in the last five or six legs, but the 124 finish was a mental break-point I think.

"He hit ten 180s but you prefer to hit doubles and mine went in big-time tonight. It was my night tonight and maybe it's my week because I feel comfortable and I'm happy with the way I'm playing."

Van Barneveld will face Phil Taylor in the semi-finals on Sunday afternoon.
