The 22-year-old factory worker beat 'The Power' 9-7 in Friday's evening session in Minehead, while Wright edged past Michael Smith, after 'Bully Boy' had squandered eight match darts.

World number one Michael van Gerwen will face Andy Hamilton, while James Wade has been paired with Kim Huybrechts.

Brother Ronny Huybrechts must beat two-time world champion Adrian Lewis to make the last 16.

Other highlights of the fourth round draw are Dave Chisnall's clash with Mervin King and Dean Winstanley's match against 2014 BDO world champion Stephen Bunting.
