Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld involved in scuffle

Sunday's PDC World Championship semi-final between Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld ended in controversy as the pair were involved in an altercation on stage.

Taylor held off a fightback from his Dutch opponent to make it through to Tuesday's final with a 6-4 victory at Alexandra Palace.

However, things threatened to turn ugly between the two men as Taylor appeared reluctant to shake Van Barneveld's hand following the conclusion of the match.

The 15-time champion then brushed off Van Barneveld's attempt to hug him before he swiftly returned to his dressing room.

Taylor will meet Michael van Gerwen in the final on New Year's Day.
