Phil Taylor spat at in Glasgow

Phil Taylor appeared to have been spat at during tonight's Premier League Darts meeting in Glasgow.

The world number one was struck as he walked through the crowd to get to the oche at the SECC.

The 52-year-old was making his way to the stage to face rival Raymond van Barneveld.

Taylor paused momentarily to wipe his face before carrying on with security guards around him to start his match.
